For five days, the city of Vic will once again become an international reference point for the study and deepening of the string quartet's specialty, as well as other string formations with various instruments such as trios. quintets,

The classes will be taught by OLIVER WILLE, an internationally renowned performer and pedagogue in the field of chamber music and especially the string quartet.

The project will be completed with classes taught by the GERHARD QUARTET, also in string quartets or other string formations with various instruments from music schools and conservatories.

In both cases, the repertoire to be worked on will be freely chosen by each participating group. Please note that Oliver Willer's classes will be conducted in English.

As a result of this dive, on Friday July 22 at 8 pm, L'Atlàntida, Osona Performing Arts Center, will offer an open concert to all citizens by the Gerhard Quartet and with the participation of groups that have worked with Oliver Wille.

The Gerhard Quartet will give a concert on the afternoon of Friday 22 July in the Sala Joan Anglada.

Musical interventions by the participating groups can be scheduled in different spaces of the city of Vic during the days of the International Quartet Academy Vic 2022.
